Well Done Super Aguri!

Who would have thought on 14th February 2006 when the first incantation of the SA05 took to the track at Kemble airfield, UK that the Super Aguri F1 Team would be fighting for 8th position and their first Championship point with the reigning World Champions at the 2007 Spanish Grand Prix.

It is another milestone in the very short history of the SAF1 TEAM and a day that no one in the team in Spain, Leafield and Japan, Honda, Bridgestone Potenza, our Sponsors, Partners, Suppliers and fans around the world will forget and Takuma Sato couldn’t be happier!

"Just an amazing weekend, a truly great performance from the team. I don't have the words really….. just one year plus four races, scoring one point in a head-to-head straight fight….beating Renault and grabbing the point,” he said. “I just never expected this result, I'm really deeply proud of the work the team has done back in Leafield and all the team at Honda Tochigi, our sponsors, fans, families, all the people who support us. I just cannot describe how happy we are and a point means much more than anything else for us and this is an absolutely fantastic result.”
